Jenny Ahn LAc
Founding Mother
Jenny has been a lifelong student and Yoga teacher and has been immersed in the healing arts since 2005. Jenny’s background and experience are rooted in Traditional East Asian Medicine, Ayurvedic Healing and the Yogic Lineages.
Jenny has worked extensively as an Ayurvedic Postpartum doula supporting mothers in their recovery from childbirth since 2012. Jenny has been teaching Yoga in the Long Beach community for over a decade, including Senior Yoga classes and Yoga for Drug Rehabilitation. She leads workshops on herbal medicine making, courses in self care, and restorative yoga & mindfulness retreats with the aim of empowering folks to take control of their health and well being. She co-founded Sacred Roots Holistic Healing in 2013, a community wellness and education center located in Long Beach, Ca.
Having experienced deep healing by reconnecting and diving deeper into her cultural heritage-reclaiming the medicine she was raised with has led her to a deeper appreciation of her ancestral roots.
Jenny’s work is centered around preventative healing, using a trauma informed lens, and an understanding that wellness is interconnected to the health of the planet and society as a whole.
Currently, Jenny has been integrating and learning more about somatic therapy as to help further bridge the mind-body connection to those on the healing journey.

He is a lot of different things to a lot of different people, but always seems to find himself right where he needs to be, at the intersection of movement, the music and the magic. He is the co-founder of The Garage Theatre, DJ and sound designer for Morning Intentions Radio and beyond, an embodied mindfulness teacher, mentor and coach, and graduate of the Embodied Mindfulness School, a yoga instructor/peace ambassador with Yogalution Movement and Wellness, and a certified massage therapist and graduate of the body work and healing arts program at Panacea Holistic Institute and therapist at Sacred Roots Holistic Health Center. So much love and gratitude to all of the teachers and influences who have led him to where he is today. He is simply overjoyed with this opportunity to continue to share some of his presence and gifts right here in our beautiful city by the sea, where all the good things come together, the LBC.

Dana Kerns, CMT
“Dana (Dayn) is a certified massage therapist who graduated from Panacea Holistic Institute in 2024 and has been practicing professionally for a year. They decided to pursue massage therapy after seeing a lack of trans and queer representation in the field, wanting to create a comfortable space for LGBTQ+ people to receive bodywork. They combine modalities such as circulatory, deep tissue, and shiatsu massage to tailor to the needs of their clients. They also offer cupping services. Dayn practices out of Sacred Roots, as well is available for events, markets and pop-ups. In this way, they are eager to offer opportunities for community members to access bodywork who may not otherwise seek out massage treatments.”

"The impact of the Veteran's Yoga Project, Free Yoga on The Bluff and the amazing group of teachers has had a tremendous impact on my life holistically. Attending yoga classes in studio elevated my personal practice preparing me for an amazing 200 Hr. Teacher Training experience."
The Journey and all its twists and turns over the course of a year has increased in depth and scope. Under the guidance of Dharma and an amazing community of Yoga Teachers, the culmination of his 200 Hr. YTT was the beginning of a renewed sense of self and purpose; a new life!
